The District is coordinating a local Ride to End Polio that will be held on June 8th.  This is a family friendly event that is also open to non-Rotarians.

This will be a fun event with bike rides, a health fair with UNMC, bike maintenance and safety clinics, and food trucks. We are working on adding more attractions before June 8th

There will be 10-, 25-, 42-, and 62-mile courses and the 10- and 25-mile courses are all on the trail system are designed to be family friendly.   The 42- and 62-mile courses are more challenging and spend some time on streets and are designed for people looking for a bit more of a challenge.

The start and finish for all rides will be in the north parking lot of the Marcus Twin Creek theatres at 3909 Raynor Parkway in Bellevue.

All donations to support riders will count double towards the District Polio fundraising competition.   Donations will be made to riders that join the District 5650 2023 Polio Ride Team on Raise for Rotary.  The clubs with the highest per capita Polio fundraising at the end of 2023-2024 Rotary year will win cash awards of up to $4,000 for their use in a club service project.
