Outbound Student Resources

After a student is selected, the student and his or her parents participate in a day of orientation about the Rotary Youth Exchange Program that is put on by Rotary District 5650. People who the student meets at the orientation will continue to play a vital part in making the student's exchange successful. The Youth Exchange Committee members, and in particular its co-chairpersons, are resources who are available to answer questions.

Before the outbound student leaves, the District 5650 Committee establishes communications with its counterparts in the District that will host its student. During the course of the exchange, the Committee monitors the outbound student through the monthly reports that the student is expected to submit.

The information on this page provides the background and forms required by prospective outbound students and their parents.
