Again in 2019-20, our District 5650 continues its support of Polio Eradication by contributing 20% of available District Designated Funds (DDF) from the Rotary Foundation toward Polio Plus.
This marks the 7th year in a row we have contributed 20% of our DDF toward Polio Plus, the 8th year of contributions overall, and a new record contribution for our District of $22,082.
Our District continues to be a certified Polio Plus contributor, qualified to be recognized on the Polio Plus Installation at Rotary International World Headquarters once Polio is completely eradicated.
With this years’ record contribution, our District has now contributed a total of $140,722 in District Designated Funds to Polio Plus, helping to ensure the realization of a polio free world.
