The Board of Directors is excited to announce Robert Rapp as our DGND Candidate. If confirmed by the club delegates at our Annual Meeting on June 13 (7pm via Zoom) his term will the 2025-26 Rotary year.
 
Robert is a member of the Omaha Morning Rotary Club.  He is a lifelong Rotarian having joined Rotary in 1994 after serving as Rotary District’s 5650’s Ambassadorial Scholar to the University of Edinburgh Law School, Edinburgh, Scotland in 1988-89. He was last year's 2022 Cadwallader Award winner.  His previous leadership roles include President, Omaha Morning Rotary Club 2020-21; District 5650's - Vocation Training Team Chair 2013 - present, Group Study Exchange Team Chair 2009 - 2013, and Group Study Exchange Team Leader, Venezuela 2006.
 
Robert grew up in South Central Nebraska on a farm and ranch.  He earned his undergraduate degree in Business/Finance from Doane University and his MBA from the University of Nebraska Omaha.  His professional background includes his work in economic/community development, international business consulting, and insurance/financial services.
 
Robert's son, Alex, and wife Allie live in Chandler, AZ.  Robert and his partner, Pam live in Elkhorn, NE.  He enjoys spending time working and relaxing at the family farm/nature reserve located near Johnson Lake in the Platte River Valley.  His hobbies include music, photography, and history.
