Larry was a member of Omaha Suburban Rotary Club from 1970-1994. He then helped found the Omaha South Rotary Club and was the Charter President. He was then a member of Omaha North Rotary Club until the club disbanded and then rejoined the Suburban Rotary Club. He was also the 1990 Cadwallader Award Recipient.
Larry held degrees from Princeton and the Harvard Business School. He retired from advertising in 2001. He also served in the U.S. Army for 30 years and was in combat in the Korean War. He retired in 1982 with many awards and decorations. His last assignment was Secretary of the Army's Office- he retired as a Colonel.
Larry was married to Lannie who passed away April 24th, 2025. They had two children and two grandchildren. His daughter, Eli, is Past President of North Rotary and a member of Omaha Suburban Rotary Club and a third generation Rotarian.
