Rotary District 5650 is seeking nominations to the District Board of Directors to serve a one-year term for the 2019-20 Rotary Year. Send your nominations to exec@rotarydistrict5650.org by August 15, 2019.
Three at-large Directors will be selected from each of the Club sizes (i) less than 26 members, (ii) 26 to 76 members, and (iii) more than 76 members. To be eligible the candidate must have served as President of a Rotary Club. Nominations must come from the Club.
For those of you who attended our annual meeting, you probably remember me mentioning we had not received nominations from the clubs for the at large District board of director positions. Well, I take full responsibility for the misunderstanding as I apparently forgot to get the notice out to club presidents. My apologizes for not doing so. To follow up and insure everyone understands the makeup of the District 5650 board of directors, the roles and responsibilities of the board members and time commitments involved, please review Section 6.0 of the Districts bylaws (click here) on the District Directory page of www.rotarydistrict5650.org.
We will be holding a special meeting before October 15, 2019 to elect the 3 at large board positions and review the 2018-2019 District financial statements.
