There were 43 people in attendance at the online meeting for Rotary District 5650 held May 10, 2018. Several clubs assigned proxies so in the end their were 23 clubs with 55 delegates voting. This constituted a quorum.
The items at hand for discussion were three budgets and confirmation of the person selected as the nominee for Rotary District Governor for the year 2020-21.
The three budgets were:
1) the District Budget for 2018-19
2) the Rotary Leadership Institute Budget for 2018-19
3) the youth Exchange Budget for 2018-19
Presenting on the District and RLI budgets was District Finance Chair Brian Moon. Presenting on the District Youth Exchange Budget was District Youth Exchange Chair Bob Rauner. All three budgets were passed unanimously.
The final item for consideration was nominee Roxy Orr whose has been selected as the District 5650 Governor Designate for 2020-21. Roxy was selected unanimously as the Designate for Governor.
It was a quick meeting but with good results I think. Thank you to all in attendance.
