Outbound Students
Outbound Student Resources
After a local Rotary Club has agreed to sponsor a student and Rotary District 5650 has selected the student to participate in an exchange, the student and his or her parents participate in an orientation about the Rotary Youth Exchange Program put on by Rotary District 5650. People who the student meets at the orientation will continue to play a vital part in making the student's exchange successful. The Youth Exchange Committee members, and in particular its co-chairpersons, are resources who are available to answer questions. A prospective Outbound student is expected to successfully complete all orientation and any other requirements.
Long before the outbound student leaves, the District 5650 Committee establishes communication with its counterparts in the District that will host the student. During the course of the exchange, the Committee monitors the outbound student through the monthly reports the student is expected to submit.
An Outbound Student is expected to completely monthly online reports on the YEAH portal.
